How to download Warzone 2 on PS4 and Xbox One
The process of downloading Warzone 2 on PS4 and Xbox One is incredibly straightforward. Just like the previous iteration of the battle royale, you need to visit the Microsoft Store or the PlayStation Store depending on your platform. Here's a closer look.
PlayStation
- Head to the PlayStation Store and search for Warzone 2
- Click the "Download" button next to the game tile.
- Wait for it to download and drop into the action
It's worth noting that Warzone 2 won't appear in the PlayStation Store yet. We expect it to arrive a few days before launch so keep checking the store so you can download it as fast as possible.
Xbox
- Head to the Microsoft Store
- Search for Warzone 2
- Select the "Download" option
- When complete, load into the action
Both methods for each platform are extremely simple and are guaranteed to work when Warzone 2 appears in the store.
Warzone 2 release date
Warzone 2 launches on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation on November 16, 2022. To avoid potential server queues, there's a chance players can preload the game before the release date so they can drop into the action but at the time of writing, Activision hasn't shared any details on preloading.
