According to numerous leaks, Warzone 2 will feature a FOV slider on all platforms, meaning console players can adjust their perspectives for the very first time.
Although it's a small addition to the game, a console FOV slider will reduce any kind of advantage PC players will have during matches.
How to change FOV in Warzone 2
The exact details on Warzone 2 FOV haven't appeared yet but we expect it to contain similar options as the first Warzone. With that said, here's a quick walkthrough that will act as a solid baseline in the early stages of the new game.
- Open the Warzone 2 menu or press Pause/Esc if you're in a match.
- Select 'Options' and move to the 'Graphics' tab.
- Head to the 'Quality' tab and select the Field of View setting.
The slider allows you to have a FOV of 120 while the 'Advanced' menu where you can adjust Independent and Affected FOV. Independent keeps FOV at 80 when aiming down sights while Affected changes FOV to the number set on the slider.

Warzone 2 release date
Although Activision hasn't shared any information on the Warzone 2 release date, a leaked internal document suggests the new era of the battle royale will launch on November 16, 2022 which corroborates with leaks claiming it will release shortly after Modern Warfare 2.
Official confirmation is expected to appear during the Call of Duty Next event which takes place on September 15 so there's not long before we hear more about Call of Duty's next chapter.
