September 27, 2023: We've updated our guide that contains everything about how to recruit Ezekiel.

There are loads of options for crew members in Bethesda's Starfield, but one in particular has caught the attention of many players. Find out here how to locate and recruit Ezekiel to bolster your space squad!

Starfield boasts a number of companions and potential crew members that you can discover in many of the game's 1,000+ planets. Some of them you will forge strong bonds with, others will just be there for the Credits. Regardless of their intent, here is a guide on how to find one of Starfield's outlier crew members.

How to locate Ezekiel in Starfield

One potential crew member who can easily fly under the radar is Ezekiel, who you can find hidden away at a very shady-looking bar in Akila City called Aggie's. To find it, you'll need to head down the left alley as you pass The Rock (not the wrestler, unfortunately), and continue down the stairs on the left. It is in an area known as the Stretch, which doesn't appear to be the city's most affluent neighbourhood.

Ezekiel is not a tough man to find once you reach Aggie's. He's the first fellow sitting at a table that you'll spot on the left. He's easily recognisable by his cowboy hat unless you're with Sam Coe but Ezekiel, unfortunately, isn't quite as devilishly handsome.

How to recruit Ezekiel in Starfield

The hardest part of recruiting Ezekiel is finding him. Once you've done that, the trick is to just not be a jerk to him, so how difficult that is will depend entirely on you. One thing we will say - the man enjoys travelling and talking about travelling.

You'll partake in some tensely polite chit-chat with Ezekiel as he suggests that it's obvious that you're not a local since you're interrupting a man having a quiet beverage at the less-than-upstanding establishment. But after a few quick comments about how you are an explorer and enjoy travelling, you'll find the option to recruit the guy to be part of your crew.

Ezekiel's stats in Starfield

It isn't entirely clear what makes Ezekiel so popular at this stage unless everyone has been invited to make saloons on their ships and we just haven't got the memo. Nonetheless, this particular cowboy has a few tricks up his sleeve that could make him the missing piece to your crew puzzle.

Ezekiel specialises in three areas in particular; Scavenging, Energy Weapon Dissipation, and Shield Systems. Put together, these would make him an ideal candidate aboard your ship as he'll contribute to hauling in more loot on destroyed ships and improve your ship's defence, especially against energy-based weaponry.

That about covers Ezekiel and how to get him to join your crew! Don't forget to take a look at our Starfield hub, or have a browse at our guides to the best early upgrades or how to increase your load capacity if you're looking for a quick read!
