Meet the voice actors behind Spider-Man 2: Peter Parker
Many famous faces - and voices - have lent their talents to the Spider-Man franchise.
Keeping to the titular character, Tobey Maguire pioneered the cinematic portrayal in the early 2000s with Sam Raimi's trilogy. Andrew Garfield took his character to a darker place in The Amazing Spider-Man before Tom Holland became the latest to take up web-slinging duties.
Beyond the silver screen, actors like Yuri Lowenthal have most recently voiced the web-slinger, taking on the role for 2017's Spider-Man, a performance which saw him nominated for Best Performance at The Game Awards 2018
With Spider-Man 2 soon to come out, we thought it would be good to have a look at the game's cast and see if we can expect some of the same stellar performances that have helped turn this series into a must-play.

Nadji Jeter
As mentioned before, Jeter returns as Miles Morales, a welcome move considering the positive reception that the game received.
As well as Mile Morales, Jeter also voiced Sam in The Last of Us and has appeared in a number of movies, including Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2.
Yuri Lowenthal
Lowenthal has had a long and storied career in movies, TV shows and video games, voicing characters in Naruto, Arcane, and numerous comic book related projects.
Perhaps it is no surprise that he would become the video game Spider-Man, picking up the role in time for 2017's Spider-Man, and running with it through Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Marvel's Midnight Suns.
Other games you have heard Lowenthal in include Genshin Impact, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and Death Stranding.
Laura Bailey
Laura Bailey returns as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man 2. Just like the rest of her castmates on this list, she has a colossal portfolio, making it hard to cover all at once in just one article.
Some of her prominent roles over the years are Abby in The Last of Us Part 2, Vex in Vox Machina, Kait Diaz in the Gears of War franchise, and Spartan Vale in the Halo franchise. These roles have made her one of the most recognisable voices in the industry.
Tony Todd
Tony Todd has gained legendary status through his acting career, spanning over multiple decades. He starred in the Star Trek series, Wishmaster, multiple horror titles like Candyman, the entire Final Destination franchise and many, many more.
This time, though, Tony has decided to try out video game voice acting, voicing Venom in Spider-Man 2. The raspy voice fits perfectly for Venom’s intimidating character, so it’s clear why Insomniac Games cast him.
