Unfortunately, you can’t get a unicorn in the Sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion. There will be no such mythical creature and only standard horses will be available to you. There’s a cosmetic item that looks like a unicorn horn. It was shown in this short teaser on Instagram, along with other cosmetic items for your horses. It seems that you can change the colour of this horn, thus you will have the opportunity to turn your favourite mount into some kind of dark unicorn.
Rumours about unicorns in the new Horse Ranch expansion for Sims 4 are based on different sources, such as this video. There you can see a horse that looks like one of these mythical creatures. However, it was later revealed that these horns are just a cosmetic item, and there will be no real unicorns in the upcoming expansion.
Also, it’s worth mentioning that there’s a leak that you can find on The Henford Hen Twitter account. There you can see SimGuruGeorge saying that there are no mythical or occult unicorns in this expansion. Just a unicorn horn that you can put on your horses.
It’s a bummer that we won’t get real unicorns in Sims 4, but the Horse Ranch expansion still has lots of content related to horses.
