Is the Ada Wong side content in Resident Evil 4 remake?

At launch, the Ada Wong side content is not in Resident Evil 4 remake. This being said, we could see it coming out in a post-launch update or DLC. Ada Wong is a beloved character in the community, and the Separate Ways add-on is one of the most memorable parts of the original game.

This looks set to change, after a datamine found by Gosetsu from the RE Wiki Discord uncovered a set of files named "The Another Order." This is the rough Japanese translation for Separate Ways in the JP version of the game, hinting that the content is baked into the game somewhere. You can check out the tweet below:

Considering the files are definitely in the game, we expect to see Separate Ways added as its own DLC expansion down the line, likely in a more elongated format.

What is Separate Ways in Resident Evil 4?


Separate Ways is a mode you unlock after beating the original Resident Evil 4. You play as Ada Wong, travelling through key areas and moments in the game, seeing what she was up to at the time, and how she subtly impacted the story. Given she's back for this full-fledged remake, it would be surprising if we didn't see Separate Ways return in some capacity down the line.
