Where to use Ornate Key in Remnant 2
In Remnant 2, you need the Ornate Key to unlock the Ornate Lockbox found in the Widow’s Court area of Yaesha. Before we discuss the rewards obtained from the Ornate Lockbox, let’s see how to find it.
To find the Ornate Lockbox, you need to reach the bottom of the castle in the Widow’s Court. You’ll have to cross a lengthy corridor and reach the end to find a chest. Next to the chest, you will find a fake illusory wall to the left side. You can find an elevator behind that fake wall. Take the elevator up to find the Ornate Lockbox. You can interact with it in your inventory and open it using the Ornate Key to find a Thaen Seed inside.
How to use the Thaen Seed inside Ornate Lockbox
You've opened the Ornate Lockbox and found the Thaen Seed. What now? Well, this item has quite some uses you may want to know.
- If you take the seed to The Eternal Empress at the Red Throne, she will grant you the Burden of the Rebel ring. This ring provides a cooldown reduction to your skill usage. Moreover, doing so makes all the Pan Warriors friendly.
- You can plant the Thaen Seed in Ward 13, which grows into Mature Thaen Fruit. It’s a consumable that allows you to be revived after a fatal hit with 30% HP.
- Finally, if you never open the Ornate Box with the key and give the box to The Eternal Empress, you are granted the Red Doe Sigil, which enhances the relic healing effectiveness.
