When playing, you'll want to know how to get Scrap fast in Remnant 2. If you’re not constantly levelling up and scavenging for resources, your game progression might be halted at some point. Therefore, you should stay on top of your capabilities by farming Scrap and how to do it as fast as possible.
Scrap is your main currency in Remnant 2 that is required to upgrade your gear and purchase various items in the game. Since you can’t dismantle unused items to acquire this resource, you might find yourself lacking in this currency unless you’re actively farming. Although there are a couple of methods to farm scrap, some may be more viable for you than others. Let’s take a look at the best scrap farming methods in Remnant 2.
How to get Scrap in Remnant 2
We have listed down three of the best scrap farming methods, starting from the least effective to the most viable one. Take a look at all of them since you want to be stocked on Scrap to purchase all sorts of items, upgrade your gear, and try out different builds. Scrap is going to be the main roadblock to your progress in Remnant 2, so it’s good to be aware of these methods as soon as possible.
3. Killing enemies
Killing enemies is the easiest method, as you’ll be actively engaged in combat throughout most of your run time. However, this method is the least effective since it’s totally based on RNG. Many of the enemies don’t drop scrap, and when they do, it’s usually quite low. You can use rings to increase your scrap drop rate and amount, but this will take a while.
2. Opening Chests
Finding a chest is a more effective method to gather this currency as each chest contains around 50 to 150 scrap. These chests are scattered throughout the world, especially in various dungeons, so be on the lookout for them. You can identify these scraps on the map, marked with yellow dots.
1. Sell Lumenite Crystals
The best method to quickly farm plenty of scraps is to sell Lumenite Crystals. You’ll need these crystals to upgrade boss weapons and some other gear enhancements; however, stocking up on scrap should be your priority, as each Lumenite crystal provides 150 scraps.
Lumenite crystals are dropped by killing tough enemies and mini-bosses. You can spawn mini-bosses in an area by clearing out waves of enemies, allowing you to farm Lumenite Crystals endlessly and consequently stock up on scrap quickly. Each biome has 3-4 types of wave bosses, and you’ll learn to identify them pretty quickly. Their spawn is always accompanied by an ominous trumpet.
