Wondering "does Orthworm evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?" As you're making your way through the Paldea region, you're more than likely going to run into an Orthworm. If you want to field a giant worm, then you may be wondering is whether it evolves.

Orthworm is a brand-new Pokemon, and was recently revealed prior to the games' launch. It's a pretty sizeable 'mon, and it's bound to be quite the powerhouse, just like other Steel types Pokemon.

Does Orthworm evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

At the moment, there is no evolution Orthworm. While the game has only just come out, it's always possible that Game Freak adds a random evolution for this Pokemon in the future, but it's not likely

As such, we don't have a Pokemon that Orthworm can evolve into at this time. While that doesn't mean that it doesn't have one randomly in the game files that wasn't in the leak, we don't know if there is one at this time.

Therefore, it seems like Orthworm will not evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

When does Orthworm evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Since Orthworm doesn't have an evolution, then there won't be a level that it can evolve at. You should be able to take it all the way up to level 100 as the mighty Orthworm, without any evolutions or changes to its appearance.

How to get Orthworm in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

  • Asado Desert, West Province - Area Two
  • East Province Mine - Area Three

You'll be able to find Orthworm in the two areas and biomes above. As it's a tunneling Pokemon, it makes sense to find it in the soft, sandy deserts and the craggy mines around Paldea.
