The Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos are an excellent way to flex your skills on the battlefield. Activision contains plenty of weaponry to master and if you manage to do so, you can equip one of several coveted camouflages.

With all eyes on what Modern Warfare 3 has in store following the beta, leaks surrounding various aspects of the game are continuing to appear. In addition to uncovering the majority of the gun list, data miners have found intel on some of the designs arriving when the full game launches and when Season 1 begins.

Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos explained

Mastery camos are exclusive designs you can equip by completing a range of weapon challenges. If Modern Warfare 3 follows a similar format as 2022's Modern Warfare 2, you can get your hands on all kinds of camouflage by mastering the weapon arsenal.

For example, completing all challenges for the SVA 545 assault rifle should unlock the gold camo. Once we hear more information on the Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos, we'll be sure to update the guide with the latest intel.

Here's the full list of Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos known so far:

In total, there are 12 Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos to unlock thanks to the carry forward initiative including all camos and challenges from Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. It's worth noting that the Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos can only be used on Modern Warfare 3 weapons and cannot be transferred onto the Modern Warfare 2 arsenal.

How to unlock Modern Warfare 3 mastery camos

Multiplayer

• Gilded - Complete base camo challenges for the weapon and complete the individual Gilded weapon challenge tailored to the specific weapon.
• Forged - Complete the Gilded camo challenge and complete the Gilded camo challenges for weapons in the same category. Then, complete the Forged camo challenge tailored to the specific weapon.
• Priceless - Complete the Forged challenge and all 37 Forged camo challenges. Then, complete an individual Priceless camo challenge.
• Interstellar - Complete all 37 Priceless camo challenges.

Zombies

• Golden Enigma - Complete the four base camo challenges then complete the Golden Enigma challenge.
• Zircon Scale - Complete the Golden Enigma challenge and additional Golden Enigma challenges for other weapons in the category. Then, complete the Zircon Scale camo challenge.
• Serpentinite - Complete the Zircon Scale camo challenge and all 37 Zircon Scale camo challenges for the MW3 weapons. Complete the Serpentinite camo challenge
• Borealis - Complete all 37 Serpentinite camo challenges.
