How to repair tools and weapons in LEGO Fortnite
Currently, there is no such feature in the game. Yes, it's unfortunate because running from the resource chest to the Crafting Bench every time is quite time-consuming and even annoying.
Previously, there was a bug in the game that allowed players to repair tools and weapons if they put them in a chest and then broke the chest. Now, this bug has been fixed, and this option is gone. Also, after the bug was fixed, the developers added 30% strength to each tool and weapon in the game, but it's still not enough.
This is inconvenient because carrying several picks or swords takes up a decent amount of space in inventory. Instead, the only thing left to do now is to craft new tools and weapons and wait for the developers to come up with an adequate solution to this problem.
How to increase weapon durability in LEGO Fortnite
The only thing you can do is increase the durability of your tools and weapons. To accomplish this, you will need to craft an Essence Table using the following resources:
- Flexwood x20 - To get it, cut down a cactus in the Dry Valley biome, using the Rare Forest Axe.
- Cut Amber x6 - This can be obtained by processing Rough Amber in the Gem Cutter. Rough Amber, in turn, can be obtained on the surface of the Dry Valley biome by breaking the yellow ore with the Rare Pickaxe.
When the Essence Table is ready, you can create Essence of Durability using the following resources:
- Blast Core x1 - This is a drop from killing the Lava Roller mob, which can be found only in caves in the Dry Valley biome.
- Rough Ruby x1 - An ore with red gems that can be broken with a Rare Pickaxe, especially in the caves of the Dry Valley biome.
When all the resources are gathered, interact with the Essence Table, select a tool or weapon, and then add Essence of Durability to it. This way, your pickaxe or anything else will last much longer.
