One such resource is Amber in both its forms: Rough Amber and Cut Amber. Amber is crucial for advancing your village and creating super-strong axes which is hugely important if you're looking to harvest some of the more valuable resources available in LEGO Fortnite. Some may even say Amber is more valuable than escaping the cold.

How to find Rough Amber in LEGO Fortnite
There's only one place in all of the LEGO Fortnite world where you can get your hands on Rough Amber. This can be hugely frustrating if you've started your journey in a grasslands biome.
The biome you get Rough Amber from is called the dry valley biome. Unfortunately, there's no precise way to reach this dry valley biome, or any biome, in your game. So your only shot at getting there is to explore the entirety of the LEGO Fortnite until you come across this particular biome.
Luckily, it's pretty hard to miss. When you find a brown desert-like area littered with rocky cliffs, you'll know you found it.
Once you get here, climb all the way up to the top of these cliffs using stairs and look around for golden deposits of Amber. Before climbing the cliffs, make sure you've got plenty of wood to work your way up the cliffs and towards the Rough Amber.
When you reach the golden deposits, you can harvest them using an uncommon Pickaxe or higher. A common Pickaxe won't deal any damage to it.
How to get Cut Amber in LEGO Fortnite
Turning your Rough Amber into refined Cut Amber is a simple process of using a gem cutter. But keep in mind that crafting a gem cutter is no piece of cake. Here are the ingredients you will need:
- 3 sand shells
- 5 sand claws
- 5 pieces of raw amber
- 20 Marble Slabs
Once you've made the gem cutter, feed the Rough Amber through it to receive some Cut Amber at a one to one ratio.

The two main uses for Cut Amber in LEGO Fortnite are for upgrading your village in addition to crafting Rare Axes which will come in handy when you're looking to obtain more high-value resources.
