Hoyoverse will be holding a Honkai Star Rail PS5 beta test very soon before the final release of the game. Hoyoverse's new anime adventure title took the world by storm on release earlier this year. Honkai Star Rail competed with the hugely popular Genshin Impact, also from Hoyoverse, and its popularity does not seem to be declining in any way. Furthermore, during the Gamescom's Opening Night Live showcase, Hoyoverse announced that Honkai Star Rail is set to release on the PS5.

When is the Honkai Star Rail PS5 beta test release date?
The Honkai Star Rail PS5 beta registration started on 23 August 2023, and will last up to 28 August 2023 at 10:00 AM (UTC+8). During this time, Trailblazers can pre-register their PS5 accounts to apply for the Honkai Star Rail PS5 technical test. There are two phases to this pre-registration. Firstly, we have the recruiting period, and then we have the testing period for eligible players.
How to sign up for Honkai Star Rail PS5 beta test
You need to head over to the official Honkai Star Rail PS5 registration website and click the Sign-Up button to submit your pre-registration information and fill out the recruitment survey to complete your sign-up.
The recruiting period for the Honkai Star Rail PS5 technical test ends on 28 August 2023 at 10:00 AM (UTC+8). After this, the team will pick Trailblazers from the list of applicants at random and start the live server testing phase on 4 September 2023 at 10:00 AM (UTC+8).
Note that not all players who apply will be selected. The selected individuals will receive emails at their registered email IDs with instructions on how to access the Honkai Star Rail PS5 beta test.
Once the testing phase has started, you can log in with your PC account and make progress on the PS5 as well. Cross-play and cross-progression will be fully enabled in Honkai Star Rail on the PS5. Note that you will need 30GB of download space. Luckily, a PlayStation Plus membership is not required to take part in the Honkai Star Rail PS5 beta test.
