Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae is a 5-star Destruction character who can dish out Imaginary damage. While the character has been officially revealed, we are yet to see what his gameplay looks like. Based on leaks, the character can deal AOE Imaginary damage and has plenty of self-buffs built into his kit.

Honkai Star Rail Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae best light cone
Like all five-star characters in the game, the new iteration of Dan Heng should come with a 5-star signature light cone. Hoyoverse has yet to reveal any information about his light cone so far, so here are the other Destruction light cone options that you can consider.
Unlike most Destruction characters that scale their damage with HP, Dan Heng scales with attack, so you have limited options. His signature weapon and The Moles Welcome You might be your only options.

For every Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate used by the wearer, the wearer gains one stack of Mischievous. Each stack increases the wearer's ATK by 12%.

Wastelander of Banditry Desert is the go-to option for Dan Heng, but if you are not high Trailblaze Power yet and cannot consistently get 5-star relics, we recommend using a 4-star Musketeer set with the right main stat pieces to get the job done for now. Space Sealing Station is the best Planar Ornament option to pair with your primary relic set.
Wastelander of Banditry Desert
- 2-Piece Bonus: Increases Imaginary DMG by 10%.
- 4-Piece Bonus: When attacking debuffed enemies, the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 10%. If the enemy is Imprisoned, the wearer's CRIT DMG increases by 20%.
Space Sealing Station
- 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's ATK increases by another 12%.
Musketeer of Wild Wheat
- 2-Piece Bonus: ATK increases by 10%.
- 4-Piece Bonus: The wearer's SPD increases by 6%, and Basic ATK DMG increases by 10%.
When farming for substats and main stats, you want to get as much crit rate and crit damage as possible for your main stats. For substats, you can focus on Attack, Imaginary damage bonus, and other offensive stats.
What are Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s skills?
Basic Attack – Lotus: Deals ?% of Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s ATK as Imaginary DMG to a target enemy.
Technique – From the Abyss to the Sky: After using Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s Technique, he will receive a stack of Reverse Scale at the start of the next battle.
Skill – Unrestrained: Basic Attack DMG is strengthened. Basic Attack DMG can be strengthened up to 3 times in a row. Casting this Skill does not consume Skill Points and is not considered Skill Usage.
Basic Attack 2 – Instant Brilliance: Casts a 3-stage attack, dealing Imaginary DMG equivalent to X% of Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s ATK to the designated enemy. Casting this skill requires 1 Skill Point.
Ultimate – Cleansing of the World: Deals high Imaginary DMG to a single enemy and minor DMG to enemies adjacent to it. Grants stacks of Reverse Scale for Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae.
Basic Attack 3 – Heavenly Shadow Arrow: Performs two attacks, dealing Imaginary DMG equal to X% of Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s ATK. Additionally, Imaginary DMG equal to X% of Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s ATK is dealt to adjacent targets.
Talent – Righteous Heart: After Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae casts an attack, the DMG he deals with will be increased by x%. This effect can stack up to x times and lasts until the end of the turn.
Basic Attack 4 – Panna’s Radiance Leap: Performs two attacks, dealing Imaginary DMG equal to Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s ATK. At the same time, performs four attacks that deal Imaginary DMG equal to x% of Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s ATK on adjacent targets. Grants [Roar] Effect.
Bonus Ability - Roar: Each stack of [Roar] increases Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s CRIT DMG by ?%. This effect can be stacked up to x times and lasts until the end of the round.
What are Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s eidolons?
We do not recommend going for any Eidolons if you are a free-to-play player or a low-spender. You will get much more value by pulling for a diverse portfolio of characters instead of investing heavily into a select few characters.
Eidolon 1: Talent effects can be stacked up to three levels
Eidolon 2: When casting an enhanced Basic ATK, each ATK recovers X HP equal to your own ATK.
Eidolon 3: Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15
Eidolon 4: Admonition additional effects will last until the end of your next turn.
Eidolon 5: Skill Lv. +2 up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1 up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
Eidolon 6: After using the Ultimate, Dan Heng - Imbibitor Lunae action is 100% advanced and obtained an additional 1 Reverse Scale.
Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae is an excellent Destruction character who can deal massive amounts of Imaginary damage. We do not have a dedicated Imaginary damage dealer, so he's an excellent pick-up if you want to build an Imaginary team for Memory of Chaos.
