How to increase inventory slots in Hogwarts Legacy
To increase your inventory slots in-game, you need to do a bit of inventory management first, to be ready to grind some quests.
First, you'll need to complete the Merlin Trials. These are unlocked after finishing the Trials of Merlin mandatory main quest in the game's story. Be ready to devote a couple of hours to playing these get those additional inventory slots.
During the mission, you'll have to solve each of Merlin Trials. These are unique puzzles that ask you to use different spell combinations and utilise your environment. After you complete the Trials of Merlin main quest, you'll then unlock the Merlin Trials challenge. For every two trials you complete, you can unlock four additional inventory slots. When you finish all the trials in the challenge, you'll end up with a total of 40 available slots.
As you finish the Merlin Trials, you can claim some rewards along with your inventory slots. Just make sure you get the rewards first, as your additional inventory slots won't be added automatically upon completion.
