God of War Ragnarok is a bigger game than the 2018 reboot of the series is. Below, we'll run through all of the main missions in the game. There are also lots of great side missions in the game, which are worth putting some time aside for, but we won't include those in this list.

While the majority of the mission titles are quite vague, you may encounter some spoilers while looking through the list below. Therefore, turn back now if you don't want to be spoiled at all.

Below is the full God of War Ragnarok missions list, which you'll find in the Goals section of the in-game menu, which is opened by pressing the touchpad on your Dualsense controller.

You'll find the list of missions you've already completed at the bottom of the Goals log. You can then check out where your current mission is in the list below to gain a better understanding of your progress.

  • Surviving Fimbulwinter
  • The Quest for Tyr
  • Groa's Secret
  • The Reckoning
  • The World of Fate
  • Forging Destiny
  • Reunion
  • Creature of Prophecy
  • Hunting for Solace
  • The Summoning
  • The Realms at War
  • Beyond Ragnarok (This one begins after the credits roll and covers everything you need to do to hit 100% completion)

Therefore, as you can see, there are 12 main missions in God of War Ragnarok, with one not beginning until after the credits roll. You'll also need to complete a lot of side quests, which are called Favors, if you want to hit 100% completion or get the Platinum trophy.
