It's that time of the year when we anxiously wait for Hoyoverse to announce rewards for the Genshin Impact 2023 anniversary. There's a lot of speculation around what we will receive this year, and we strongly recommend keeping your expectations in check.

With a lot of fake information doing the rounds, we've decided to tell you exactly what to expect from this year’s anniversary. Hoyoverse is also likely to make an official announcement regarding a concert and a special anniversary livestream as we get closer to the event.

When is the Genshin Impact 2023 Anniversary date?

The third year anniversary of Genshin Impact will kick off on September 28, 2023. The day is a special one as it is also the birthday of the Cryo character Kamisato Ayaka, who was the first playable character during the game’s development phase.

What to expect from the Genshin Impact 2023 Anniversary

We can expect an official anniversary live stream before the celebrations kick off on September 28. We can expect a login event that will give us some Intertwined Jade, as well as special gifts in the mail for some limited-time rewards.

The official Genshin Impact channel has posted a promotional video for this year’s concert, so you don't want to miss that. If you've never watched any of the previous concerts, expect some of the best soundtracks from the game to be played - and we might also get to hear some new tunes.

When it comes to rewards, leaks suggest that we will get 10x Intertwined Fates, similar to the previous years. But we will also get another 1,600 Primogems and some in-game items, which also align with what we received in previous years. What stands out this year is that we might get a new glider, which is a limited-time collectible similar to the gadgets we received last year.

If you don't want to miss out on the limited-time rewards, you need to be active during the anniversary, so make sure you log in to the game on September 28 and later to claim this year’s rewards. With leaks hinting at the fact that we're getting similar rewards as the previous two years, it will be interesting to see how the community reacts to the anniversary rewards.

Do note that the information about the rewards is based on leaks, so we recommend you not to jump to conclusions and to wait until an official announcement is made by Hoyoverse. The expected date for the anniversary livestream is September 16, which is when the rewards will be officially announced.
