The Dead Island 2 Goat Pen master key is an integral piece of the puzzle if you're wanting to explore everything this particular building has to offer. There are numerous structures to visit in Dead Island 2, with most of them containing locked rooms requiring a key.

Dead Island 2 Goat Pen master key location

Oddly enough, the Goat Pen master key is inside one of the rooms that need the key to enter. This means you need a workaround in order to break into the room without the key. Here's what you need to do:

• Head to the Goat Pen mansion in Bel-Air.
• From the parked cars outside the front door, head up the staircase on the left and towards the edge of the roof.
• You'll see two white loungers. Jump down and smash the window open.
• Inside the room is a Weighted perk blueprint and the Goat Pen master key. Pick up the key so it's easier to enter the rooms next time around.

Once you've got your hands on the Dead Island 2 Goat Pen master key, you can now enter the room containing the mini-bar without smashing the window and triggering the alarm.

Head inside the mansion and interact with the keypad on the wall to open the doors. If you don't have the key, you can still smash the windows but it's important to note that the alarm will attract plenty of undead attention.
