Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight event - Start time, new features, and more

It’s Halloween season and that means Dead by Daylight is going to bring back one of its most popular events: Haunted by Daylight. This isn’t just an event returning for nostalgia, as Haunted by Daylight will also bring in new backstories, outfits, and even gameplay mechanics to keep things fresh.

When is the Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight event start time?

Haunted by Daylight will start on October 18 at 2 PM ET and last until November 6 at 2 PM ET.

That gives you just over two weeks to enjoy the fun!

What is in the Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight event?

As part of the event’s return, players will enter a thrilling new section of The Entity’s Realm for the first time and try to make some new allies along the way: Haunts.

These new threats can be found in the brand-new Void Zones, which are parts of a mysterious realm where remnants of Survivors and Killers are. Naturally, these remnants are Haunts and players must release them by depositing Void Energy into Unstable Rifts in order to free them.

As if a new zone wasn’t frightening enough, Dead by Daylight also adds Tome 17: Commitment, revealing backstories for The Oni and Feng Min. Commitment will tell us about Feng Min’s eSport past and show us just how powerful The Oni is.

Launching alongside the Haunted by Daylight event are new Very Rare outfits for David King, Yun-Jin Lee, and Haddie Kaur as part of the Void Collection. Players will need to be quick, as the outfits will last as long as the event itself, so get them by November 6 or they’ll be gone forever.

Even more cosmetics are part of the event, as The Onryo and Yoichi Asakawa get Very Rare outfits as part of The Hallowed Blight Collection. In addition to these characters, the Xenomorph will also get an Ultra Rare outfit, so Alien fans will eat this up when the collection launches on October 24.
