AX-50 Warzone 2: Is it in the game?

Sniper rifles often have an impact on the metagame in Call of Duty titles thanks to their immense power in long-distance duels. Throughout the history of the franchise, players have had numerous options in order to make an impact whether it's through quickscoping or picking off opponents from afar.

With the launch of Warzone 2 on the horizon, several members of the community are already turning their attention to the new arsenal of weaponry. Just like the first Warzone title, the sniper rifle category will be one of the most popular as players aim to score their first victory.

What is the best AX-50 Warzone 2 loadout?

At the time of writing (September 7, 2022), it's impossible to determine the best AX-50 Warzone 2 loadout as the game's launch is still a while away. The next chapter of the battle royale is expected to release in mid-November, it'll be a few months before the best loadout for the sniper rifle appears.

Is the AX-50 in Warzone 2?

Despite a lack of information from Infinity Ward, a leak unveiling several weapons arriving in Modern Warfare 2 all but confirms the presence of the AX-50 in Warzone. As always, it's important to take leaks with a pinch of salt but considering the sniper appeared in 2019's Modern Warfare, there's a chance the leak is accurate.

If the AX-50 is in Warzone 2, the sniper will feature a bolt-action mechanic alongside a huge damage output. However, the kick after firing a bullet will require some control.

As we mentioned earlier, it's too early to determine the best AX-50 Warzone 2 attachments. However, if it performs anything like the rifle does in the first Warzone, we expect a build with a larger magazine, improved mobility, and damage output to prove popular.

Warzone 2 reveal date

Although there's a minimal amount of information on Warzone 2 at the moment, we expect more to appear during the Call of Duty Next event. The "era-defining" event will showcase more on the battle royale in addition to Warzone Mobile and Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer.
