GTA V To Run At 4K, 60FPS on PS5 (And Probably Xbox Series X)

Grand Theft Auto V will seemingly run at 4K and 60fps on PlayStation 5, and presumably the Xbox Series X, according to the German PlayStation Blog.

The 'Expanded and Enhanced' edition of the open-world adventure will bring the game, and its popular GTA Online mode, to current-gen consoles later this year.

GTA V Expected to Run At 4K, 60FPS On Xbox Series X

Grand Theft Auto V is coming to Xbox Series X and Series S in the form of an 'Expanded and Enhanced' edition, but there has been a lack of concrete information about the port until the new blog post.

The translated post, which focuses on upcoming 2021 releases for the PlayStation 5, notes that Grand Theft Auto V will offer "Crisp 4K Resolution", along with "Smooth 60fps" support.

While it's no guarantee, that also suggests that the Xbox Series X version will perform comparably, given the similarities in power between the two consoles.

The game's launch onto its third generation of consoles is slated for November 11, with more updates due within the coming weeks. Recently, Take-Two Interactive recently claimed the next-gen version of the game will be "highly appealing" to Xbox Series X and Series S owners, while other remasters are also in the works.

Grand Theft Auto 5 has now sold a staggering 150 million units, meaning it could be a while before we see GTA 6.
