Does GTA Definitive Edition Have Online Mode?

The GTA Definitive Edition, including enhanced versions of GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas, is now available digitally (and with no shortage of bugs). Each of the games features better graphics, sounds, and other technical enhancements but still maintain the classic vibe brought by their original counterparts, but one thing that isn't there is an online mode.

Here's everything you need to know whether the GTA Definitive Edition will have an online mode.

Does GTA Definitive Edition Have Online Mode?

As much as the online mode could make the gaming experience of players more interesting, the GTA Definitive Edition does not have one. It makes sense, though. Rockstar added no new content for any of the included games, and none of them had online modes.

Some fans of GTA San Andreas for PC did create an online multiplayer mod in the past and the possibility of having a pseudo-online mode based on the mods is still there - assuming Rockstar Games will allow it.

The GTA Definitive Edition is available digitally for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC now. Physical versions will launch in December, and mobile versions are planned for 2022.
