Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have released Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude: The Corrupted Casefile, a free visual novel set before the main game. Fans with a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 can download this now, though PC players must wait until March 8.
Ghostwire: Tokyo - Prelude sees players controlling KK, as his team of supernatural detectives figure out what’s happening acriss the country. Like most visual novels, players will make dialogue choices that let them know the characters better, altering the narrative.

According to The PlayStation Blog, players are encouraged to replay Ghostwire: Tokyo - Prelude to know the full story of KK and learn new details. KK plays a major part in Ghostwire: Tokyo, as he helps lead character Akito save their country from a group of cultists.
Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude: The Corrupted Casefile is a free visual novel available now on PS4 and PS5. As for the main game, Ghostwire: Tokyo is coming to PS5 and PC later this month, on March 25. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.
