It's called Mistsplitter Reforged, named as such because, as the sword's lore says (thanks HoneyHunter), the sword has been broken and remade once in its lifetime already.
As you'd expect from a five-star sword, Mistsplitter Reforged boasts high base attack power as well, and it's bolstered by a critical multiplier secondary stat.
What makes it perfect as Ayaka's sword is the refinement skill, however.
It offers a 12% increase to all elemental damage and grants the Mistsplitter's Emblems under certain conditions. You can hold up to three of them, and they increase Elemental damage by a further 8%/16%/28%.
Genshin Impact 2.0 Weapon Banner Leaks with New Inazuma Sword in the Spotlight
You'll gain Mistsplitter Emblems by doing the following:
- Casting an Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10 seconds)
- Dealing Elemental damage with a normal or charged attack (stack lasts five seconds)
- Anytime your Energy is less than 100% (stack vanishes when Energy reaches 100%)
Ayaka revolves around dealing Elemental damage, and her Elemental Skill makes normal and charged attacks deal Elemental damage as well.
Of course, she's not the only one. If you get Mistsplitter Reforged and not the powerful Ayaka, there are plenty of other characters this would work for.
Mistsplitter Reforged is joined by Skyward Spine once again, one of the best five-star polearm weapons you can find.
While the update won't make getting a five-star weapon any easier, you will have greater control over working toward the weapon you want thanks to the new Epitomized Path system.
The Genshin Impact 2.0 weapon banner four-star weapons are:
- The Stringless
- Favonius Sword
- Favonius Lance
- Favonius Codex
- Sacrificial Greatsword
