Season 4 Reloaded for Warzone and Vanguard is officially underway much to the delight of players. The latest season of post-launch content features everything ranging from the Vargo S assault rifle to the arrival of Portable Redeploy Balloons.
Throughout the history of the Call of Duty franchise, various villains attempt to execute their sinister plans but eventually fail thanks to the intervention of a range of special forces.
While many players are on the hunt for the best Warzone guns to use in Season 4 Reloaded, a leak has revealed a number of bad guys are on their way back to multiplayer and the battle royale.
Various Villains Returning in Warzone and Vanguard
Notable Call of Duty dataminer “Reality” claims to have found four unreleased Operators within the Vanguard game files following the mid-season update. Operators include Raul Menedez from the Black Ops universe and Khaled Al Asad from Call of Duty 4 and 2019’s Modern Warfare.
The appearance of Al Asad is exciting as it coincides with Infinity Ward teasing a “familiar foe” making an appearance in Vanguard and Warzone as a Modern Warfare 2 pre-order bonus. Additionally, the presence of Gabriel Rorke who first appeared in Call of Duty: Ghosts could also emerge as another incentive.
Another Black Ops Operator in the form of He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen is also within the game files and there’s a possibility these characters could all appear within Season 5.
Characters from previous titles appearing ahead of the next instalment is nothing new in Call of Duty. Frank Woods from Black Ops made an appearance in Modern Warfare to promote the launch of Black Ops Cold War later that year.
