The vanilla versions of the Sims games offer some pretty wacky glitches and hilarious occurrences, from werewolf graduation ceremonies to a family of Keanu Reeves clones, and even a dead dad who won’t stop baking cakes.

However, those willing to enter the weird world of mods are in for an even wilder time, with things like drug busts becoming a regularity in once-peaceful suburban retreats.

That said, one new mod might take things to the edge of good taste, being the kind of thing that might terrify a high school-aged Sim.

Pikasim! I choose to play God over you!

The mod in question is called ‘Pokemod By Leljas: Play as Buizel, Floatzel, Shinx and/or Luxray from Pokemon!’ and, as advertised, is the work of modder Leljas, who has brought all kinds of pokemon to the game over the past few years.

This time, it’s the turn of Buizel, Floatzel, Shinx and Luxray, all of whom have been transmogrified into sims via Savestate's furry mod version 2, creating some interesting-looking fellows that may enchant or horrify you, depending upon your viewpoint.

Regardless of this, you should at least try and appreciate the hard work that’s gone into bringing Ash Ketchum’s animal slaves into Simland, with Leljas having made a bunch of custom content to help each Pokesim resemble their inspiration as accurately as possible.

Unfortunately, if accuracy’s what you’re aiming for, you will have to opt for some specific physical attributes when creating your sims, with different genders and body shapes affecting what you’ll end up with once the process is complete.

Luckily, Leljas has provided some in-depth instructions in the mod’s description, so you can follow those if you’re unsure.

So, get out your baseball cap, put on your Pokemon-catching clothes, and make sure to follow us for more Sims updates as a range of new content arrives for you to pick up.
