According to documents from Companies House, Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser's just founded a new games company. Registered as a new UK business on June 23, Houser's calling this Absurd Ventures in Games.
It follows on from Houser registering two separate companies in the US in February, calling them Absurd Ventures LLC and Absurd Ventures in Games LLC. With the former's name dropping games from the title, that's led to speculation Houser may expand operations beyond gaming, and these US branches are named as owning all 100 shares for the UK company.

Presently, he's the only staff member on file, though as a new setup, that's not exactly surprising. Having left Rockstar in March 2020, that followed on from an “extended break” in the previous Spring 2019, Houser's influence cannot be understated, having written or co-written most Grand Theft Auto games, alongside the Red Dead Redemption series, Bully and Max Payne 3.
