There are several ways to earn rewards in Modern Warfare 2. Whether it’s through completing the battle pass or capturing a specific number of Domination flags, there are all kinds of items up for grabs.
As attention moves towards the start of Season 4 Reloaded, fans are growing tired of a weapon blueprint that’s causing the game to crash in addition to another bug, which is making Operators levitate around the pre-game lobby.
Thanks to a recent leak, it appears new ways to unlock rewards are arriving in multiplayer, potentially as soon as the mid-season update.
Modern Warfare 2 daily rewards leak
Notable leaker TaskForceLimg has seemingly uncovered a new menu screen from within the Modern Warfare 2 files, which show a list of unique rewards on offer to players when they load up the game.
The leaker says: “Each reward has had a gift bundle added to the game files. They were added in Season 4 so it’s probably starting from Season 4 Reloaded.”
On one hand, some community members are looking forward to earning some rewards with ease but on the other, some believe the feature is long overdue. One player says: “Daily login rewards should have been in the game since day one.”
If the leak is accurate, daily rewards are also on their way to Warzone, which is good news for all Call of Duty fans looking for some unique items without having to spend any CoD Points.
Of course, it’s important to take leaks with a pinch of salt until Infinity Ward decides to share more information on daily logins. However, given the fact the screenshot was from the files of Modern Warfare 2, there’s a possibility of the leak containing some degree of accuracy.
