Hogwarts Legacy's popular timed-exclusive PlayStation content is finally coming to other consoles according to developer Avalanche Software via social media.

The biggest piece of content that Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC players missed out on is possibly one of the best quests in the entire game - the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop mission. Avalance stated:

As we near the one-year anniversary of Hogwarts Legacy, we wanted to let our community know that the Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation-exclusive content will be available on other platforms later this summer, along with additional updates and features for the game. Stay tuned in the coming months for more details on what’s coming to Hogwarts Legacy this year.

While they didn't confirm all non-PlayStation platforms would be getting the content, it's hard to imagine they'll keep any of the fanbases sidelined once more.

It's hard to ignore the immense success of Hogwarts Legacy, which outsold even Call of Duty to become the best-selling game of 2023. Despite the Switch version not having the same graphical capabilities as the PS5 and Xbox Series X editions and being released months later, it still managed to perform surprisingly well for instance. Given its popularity, it's likely that Avalanche is developing proper DLC to keep the game relevant for a few more months.

Of course, a sequel is all but a given, with Warner Bros basically promising they'll keep "pumping" more Harry Potter games after the overwhelming success of the first open-world-like Harry Potter RPG.

Hogsmeade is about to get spooky

The game originally released in February of last year, but as Avalanche mentioned, if you're looking forward to the Hogsmeade quest finally being available outside PlayStation platforms, you'll have to patiently wait a bit more time.

It is a pretty unique quest, and frankly, it's rather bizarre than the most memorable mission in, perhaps, the entire game was locked as exclusive content to a certain percentage of the player base.

Still, it seems the vast amount of stuff to do besides that one mission offset the fact that Xbox, Switch, and PC got essentially an incomplete experience for the same cost.

In any case, while we wait for more information about the PlayStation Hogwarts Legacy content going multiplatform, check out how to find side quests so you don't miss out when it's released.
