Every October in GTA Online there's a spooky event, and the game's tenth year of support is no different.

Coming as part of the latest GTA Online weekly update, this new Adversary Mode is as close to Dead By Daylight as you're likely to see in GTA Online.

If you want a break from hopelessly spinning for this week's podium vehicle, or are tired of going on crime sprees to get money fast, Judgement Day in GTA Online may do the job.

Are you excited to dive into Judgement Day in GTA Online?

The Judgement Day Adversary Mode was announced for GTA Online on October 5, as part of the week's update, and arrived immediately.

In the mode, you'll play as either a Rider or Hunted. Riders scoot about on the LCC Sanctus motorbike with health and speed buffs, with the task of finding and killing the Hunted. Those survivors can pick up weapons to fight back, and are encouraged to run, hide, and come up with strategies to evade Riders until the timer runs out.

To incentivise players to dive into the mode, you can currently receive double GTA$ and RP when playing Judgement Day, as well as a cash injection of $300,000 after playing three rounds. Alongside that, you can also purchase the War mask worn by Riders from the mask store.

That's alongside a bunch of other additions in this week's update, from vintage horror masks to the limited return of spooky-themed Halloween vehicles, decked out with horrific decals.

With the promise of even more Halloween-themed cosmetics on the way on top of that, October is shaping up to be an especially spooky month for GTA Online.

Elsewhere in the news, the new Cyberpunk 2077 2.01 patch has continued amending CD Projekt RED's long-running RPG. You can also pre-register for Silent Hill Ascension now, if you can find the time between playing Red Dead Redemption at 60 FPS!
