GTA Online players are a bit concerned about the wellbeing of Dax from the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC

While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

Currently, some are trying to do just that by digging into the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC, which contains some interesting new missions and vehicles, but also has a few players concerned for the wellbeing of its characters.

These worries form the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user yung_blink, who asked whether anyone else was concerned about Dax, the leader of the DLC’s gang, citing his drug use, choice of friends and the fact he: “seems too innocent to run a highly aggressive gang” as their reasons.

A few of their fellow criminals agreed and echoed similar feelings, with user Cryotechnium declaring: “He’s the type of guy who trusts his crew, (who) will get him killed one day” and electronic_docter adding: “I mean the first cocktail of drugs we see him taking is some coke, whippets, weed and a ton of acid, we should probably be concerned.”

However, user Pacman_Frog suggested that Dax’s lifestyle seems just fine to them, saying: “Dax is living his life on his terms. He knows the fact that we're not guaranteed tomorrow so he lives ten times as hard today.”

On the other hand, user Caedes1 summed up the views of a lot of players in the thread by musing: “At first I had some of those thoughts about Dax, but every time I hear him shout ‘badonkadonk’, I wish I had the option to shoot him in the head and gun down the entire troupe.”

Meanwhile, user Remarkable-Maybe-414 proposed that maybe Dax’s lifestyle isn’t the main reason people should be concerned about him, saying: “Trevor may not be in Blaine County or even Los Santos, but as long as Trevor is out there, Dax is always in danger.”
