While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

Currently, some people who aren’t boycotting the game due to PC exploits or digging into the taxi work that Rockstar has recently added to it, are taking in the hijinks of one player on Reddit, who’s decided to take on the guise of a Los Santos superhero.

Have you ever decided to cosplay as a superhero in GTA?

Their dramatic dress-up session forms the subject of a couple of recent threads on the GTA Online subreddit, the first of which began with a post from the player in question, who shared a number of shots of their hero in action, captioning these with a quote from 2002’s Spider-Man.

A number of their fellow criminals were quick to respond with an array of other references to the movie, such as users Brian_E1971 and dpewald jokingly referring to the character as “The Human Spider” and “Arachni-man” respectively.

Meanwhile, user jtrom93 mused: “Now we just need the Green Goblin flying in on an (Oppressor) Mark 2.” and Gravemindzombie lamented: “I wish we had more (superhero-themed) items, like we already have the batmobile, just give me an imitation of the batsuit.”

Inspired by their fellow players’ enthusiasm towards their cosplay, Los Santos’ Human Spider decided to put together their own superhero movie trailer in another thread, which features plenty of super jumps between buildings and some pretty gnarly POV shots, though it does lack any Oppressor-riding villains.
