While many GTA players are just trying to enjoy their remaining time in Los Santos by spending all of their hard-earned cash or becoming a taxi driver, some are already looking forward to GTA 6.

After all, aren’t you curious what the next game’s map will look like, how it’ll parody Netflix, or whether you’ll be tasked with saving the world during your first playthrough?

While all of this likely won’t be known until the game finally arrives, some players are still thinking about what it might feature, with some players seemingly hoping that it includes some features from Red Dead Redemption 2.

Are you hoping GTA 6 might take a few cues from Rockstar’s western epic?

Their cowboy-themed conversations form the subject of a couple of recent threads on the GTA 6 subreddit, one of which began with a post from user Naphor, who kicked things off by asking their fellow fans: “Would you approve of Rockstar bringing back (the concept of single player) challenges from RDR2?”

They also shared their own views on the tasks, saying: “While some of them did suck, I still think the rewards for them were pretty good and it incentivized me to do stuff in the game I wouldn’t have otherwise done.”

The other players in the thread seemed open to this idea, but were split on the issue of difficulty, with user SultyBoi declaring: “Yes and I want them to be just as annoying, at first it was maddening but after all that (effort), seeing 100% and all challenges completed feels great!” while plasticbluepalm argued: “Yeah but they shouldn't be insanely hard as in RDR2.”

Meanwhile, user ExpozeHoz kicked off another thread by suggesting that they’d like to see both Red Dead’s dead eye mechanic and Franklin’s slipstream ability from GTA 5 “return as cheats or secretly (obtainable abilities) in GTA 6.”

Their fellow players had mixed feelings on the idea, with user GunnerII saying: “A bullet time thing would be cool,” while Vt420KeyboardError4 argued: “I do like both of those abilities, but I would like them to be special to their respective games and/or series.”
