While they may not have any massive expansions to dig into quite yet, Elden Ring players are still keeping themselves busy, with the long-awaited Colosseum DLC providing a fresh challenge for many who now consider boss battles to be a walk in the park.

Meanwhile, others are spicing the game up by attempting unorthodox challenge runs that see them attempt incredible feats like beating the likes of Malenia and Radahn on two screens at once.

For those who are not quite up to mastering the dance pad and don’t have any hot takes, but still want to find new ways to think about their favourite game, a recent thread on the Elden Ring Reddit, which centres around an interesting hypothetical scenario, might be worth a look.

Which of these Elden Ring could you cause the most chaos with?

Said thread was kicked off by a post from user Sir_Terrible, who declared: “Fromsoftware makes it so invaders must take control of a non-boss enemy near the host, what enemy would you possess to cause the most havoc?”

Their fellow Tarnished were quick to suggest an array of foes they thought might be good catalysts for some pandemonium, with user FIREARCHER_101 going for: “The giant sword lions,” BaronsCastleGaming saying: “The Castle Sol twin sword banished knight for sure,” and TheMalignantHaunting musing: “I just know controlling an Imp would devastate many of you.”

Meanwhile, some users got very into the idea of becoming a crustacean, with Silent-Island declaring: “(A) lobster. Cross map snipes would be crazy, then if they manage to kill me? Boom, non-boss Grafted Scion,” and misterburners reflecting: “I’ve always wanted to be a giant crab personally. I feel like I would be good just chilling in some mud and hammering anything that walks by.”

User IAmBigBox took the roleplaying even further, arguing: “Literally just give me a dog. It’s actually just unwinnable for them. I’ll run and back jump, over, and over, and over. Then they’ll (give up) and try to leave. I’ll run at them, then back jump again when they turn and swing,” prompting Apprehensive_Nose_38 to conclude: “Dogs controlled by players would be terrifying.”

On the other hand, user 16bitword suggested: “(A) Runebear disguised as (a) soldier,” leading DatabasePretty9345 to retort: “You're diabolical.”

Regardless of whether you’re now developing an incredibly detailed strategy that would allow you to make people rage quit by annoying them as a sheep, make sure to follow us for coverage of some interesting streamers and guides to Elden Ring’s newest addition.
