The Game Awards 2021 held a few surprises last night, and for Cuphead fans, there's good news. Studio MDHR's announced their long-awaited DLC, The Delicious Last Course, is finally launching next year.
Having previously suffered several delays, Studio MDHR confirmed it'll now release on June 30th, 2022. Having originally launched in 2017, Cuphead's DLC was first revealed back in 2018, initially scheduled to arrive in 2019. Following a delay into 2020, that was pushed back again due to the ongoing pandemic.

New Cuphead DLC Unveiled In The Game Awards 2021, Releases Next Year
In an official statement, Chad Moldenhauer, co-director of Studio MDHR mentioned:
“We’re beyond thrilled to finally be sharing a release date for The Delicious Last Course with our fans. As with so many of our fellow developers, creating games during these unique times has brought with it a host of challenges, and we’re so grateful to our Cuphead community for their patience and excitement as we’ve pushed to make The Delicious Last Course a true high watermark of the studio’s art, design, and animation.”
