The Resorts World Arena in Birmingham has just played host to the biggest Apex Legends tournament of the 2023 season. This year's ALGS Championship saw the very best teams in the world battle it out for a chance to be crowned world champion and win a share of $2 million in prize money.

During the early stages of the tournament, one player managed to hit an impressive 360 no-scope to win a match and, after four days of world-class competition, only the best teams remained.

It was TSM who eventually emerged victorious, winning three matches in a row in order to come from behind and lift the trophy in front of a capacity crowd.

TSM struggled to get the ball rolling in the early stages of the tournament's grand finals, taking five points from the first matches while other teams looked to establish early dominance.

Despite entering game six with several teams ahead of them, a streak of three consecutive match wins helped TSM confirm their status as the most successful Apex Legends team in history.

TSM is no stranger to taking the top spot in competitive Apex Legends tournaments. In December 2022, the team took victory in the opening split of the North American Pro League, before winning the Split 1 Playoffs in February 2023.

In July, the team scored the runner-up spot in the Split 2 Playoffs, but ended the season on a high by taking home the ALGS Championship. Just this year alone, TSM has won just over a million dollars in prize money.

Consisting of Evan 'Verhulst Verhulst, Jordan 'Reps' Wolfe and Phillip 'ImperialHal' Dosen, TSM is one of the most successful teams to ever climb aboard the dropship. After winning, ImperialHal said: "I had a wish, being the greatest player alive, but also to win in front of my family. I've checked those boxes."

With the dust settling on another action-packed tournament, attention is already moving to the start of the fourth season of ALGS competition. As revealed by an X post from the PlayApexEsports account, it won't be long before the world's best players return.
