All Forza Horizon 5 Biomes - July 26

Microsoft published a new Xbox Wire post revealing all 11 Forza Horizon 5 biomes:

  • Canyon
  • Tropical Coast
  • Farmland
  • Arid Hills
  • Jungle
  • Living Desert
  • Rocky Coast
  • Sand Desert
  • Swamp
  • Urban City of Guanajuato
  • Volcano

Ray-Traced Audio - July 13

Forza Horizon 5 will use ray-tracing to offer more realistic audio, Playground Games has confirmed.

Performance Mode Confirmed - June 14

Forza Horizon 5 will offer a 60FPS mode, according to an FAQ on the franchise's support website.

On Series X and Series S, players can opt for 4K 30fps and 1080p 30fps respectively, but with an option for 60fps. No resolution was revealed.

Location

Forza Horizon 5 will be set in Mexico, meaning players can expect a diverse array of locales and biomes.

Release Date And Platforms

Forza Horizon 5 will arrive on Xbox consoles and PC, and Xbox Game Pass, on November 9th.

The game will not only come to Xbox Series S and X but Xbox One, too.

Developer

Forza Horizon 5 is likely to be developed by Playground Games once again, as the studio has been split into two teams, with the other one working on the upcoming Fable reboot.
