Forza Horizon 5 Gives Xbox Game Studios Its Biggest Launch Day Ever

Spencer announced that the game has garnered more than 4.5 million racers on all platforms, marking the biggest launch day for the game studios since its inception.

Even though this player count has probably been assisted by its day-one release on Game Pass, it's still an impressive feat as the title's peak concurrent users are three times higher than Forza Horizon 4.

Aside from breaking records, Playground Games is also expanding its accessibility options for gamers, with the inclusion of a sign language option during cutscenes.

Players have noticed its immersive sound throughout their exploration across Mexico, due to ray tracing driving the game's audio. Various horn effects have also been inspired by themes across Xbox's most popular franchises like Halo, Doom, and Sea of Thieves

Along with its launch on Game Pass, the racing simulator is available to PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and cloud gamers around the globe.
