The bow meta in Fortnite was probably one of the most controversial metas in the game. We saw the bows like the Grappler Bow in Fortnite for the first time in Chapter 2 Season 6.
Sadly, the bows lasted for just one season and then were retired. Many individuals in the community, like me, believe that the bows were retired prematurely.
Epic Games could have experimented a lot with the bows to be honest. And for some reason, playing with a bow was easier than playing with a sniper rifle.
Given the insane amount of benefits that the weapon had, it raises one very important question.
Will we see bows like the Grappler Bow ever return to Fortnite?
This is a very difficult question to answer at this point of time. We've seen Epic Games retire a lot of weapons in Fortnite, only to bring them back again.
And given the popularity that these bows had over the course of one season, it's highly likely that Epic Games could decided upon bringing them back once again.
Most bows in Fortnite were wonderful alternatives to snipers. Although they didn't exactly have the range like a sniper rifle, they did have the capability of going the distance.
Moreover, they were the real stealth weapons. You could get the jump on your opponents without being spotted.
That being said, these bows could be customised as well. From fitting explosives to having a fire tipped arrow, the Fortnite bows had it all.
Furthermore, the Grappler Bow in Fortnite was an exceptionally interesting weapon. Not only did it allow you to bring your targets closer to you, it helped you cover long distances with ease.
Of all the bows in the game, the Grappler Bow in Fortnite was one of the most favored weapons in the community.
But then again, knowing how unpredictable Epic Games can be, we can't rule out the chance of these weapons retuning in the next season.
