Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Gets Final Trailer Featuring Frank Sinatra


Square Enix has released a final trailer for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, two months before launch. Revealing new characters and plot points, Square Enix also unveiled new details regarding the game’s job system, bosses, and more.

While Stranger of Paradise's wider story details remain vague, the idea of warriors uniting to stop a greater evil remains the same. We get to see more of Jack’s past, including a woman he loved and how he felt like a stranger in a paradise filled with nobles.

As part of this, we got new information on some of the Advanced Jobs that players can access. The Red Mage can use both black and white magic for attacks and healing, the Berserker specializes in close combat with axes and greatswords, while the Samurai can recover MP when using regular attacks.

Kraken and Lich - The Fiends of Water and Earth respectively - are two new bosses, corrupted versions of the elemental crystals that players had to collect in the first Final Fantasy. Finally, this trailer's capped off with the use of Frank Sinatra’s My Way.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin launches on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via the Epic Games Store on March 18, 2022.
