How to find Skill Points

Your party will earn skill points when levelling up, and each character earns their own set of skill points – so you don't have to worry about sharing them out.

How to Upgrade your Weapons

When in the pause menu, you can add skill points to various nodes within your weapon.

Some offer passive bonuses, like increased HP or attack power, while some can even add new Materia slots.
