FIFA 21: How To Do A Driven Cross

With some FUT challenges requiring players to score from crosses, this one is worth getting to know.

This is essentially a cross with a bit of venom, and can find wily defenders in space - or cause defenders an embarrassing own goal if they aren't careful.

A driven cross doesn't necessarily need to come from the wing on either side of the box, and works just as well level with the edge of the box.

That makes it an ideal technique for full-backs that may be perched on the edge of the opposition's third of the pitch.

While it's easy to do, it's something that takes practice to master.

To pull it off, simply press the R1 or RB button on your controller and then the cross button (by default, that's Square on PlayStation and X on Xbox controllers).

Hold the buttons longer to send the ball longer, and aim for your striker as they peel away from the defender marking them.
