Our Top Bar Earning Tips
1. Bounties
Completing a Bounty is a surefire way to earn Bars in Fortnite.
You can start a bounty by talking to NPCs, though not all of them will issue you the challenge. The ones that will are:
- Lexa
- Reese
- Menace
- Mancake
- Mave
- Kondor
- Reaper
- Brutus
- Deadfire
- Triggerfish
- Bullseye
- Bandolier
- Longshot
- Splode
- Blaze
- Ragnarok
- Burnout
- Rapscallion
- Sleuth
- Grimbles
- Farmer Steel
- Kit
- Tomato Head
As soon as you land, get a bounty. They are free and will reward you with 150 Bars if you complete them!
In the worst case, even if your target is eliminated by a different player you’ll still earn something then you can go right back to the NPC who issued you the bounty and get a new one.

2. Quests
NPCs can also give you quests in Fortnite Season 5. These quests will also earn you Bars though they’ll be relative to the difficulty of the task coming in Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic.
So many NPCs offer quests, so it’ll be quicker to say which don’t:
- Lexa
- Kondor
- Mandalorian
- Bigfoot
- Ruckus
- Predator
You can only have one quest from a character at a time, but you can have multiple from different ones! Make sure to prioritise the quests and get more if you want to earn those Bars!
3. Know Where To Look
Finally the best ways you can earn Bars is by knowing where to look!
Destroying beds, sofas, cash registers and opening chests will all reward some Bars. You can even find safes which can be cracked open to score some of the gold treasure inside.
This can be slower than quests and bounties, but if you're looking to make a little extra cash, these are the places to look for bars.
