A Nintendo Switch port of Dragon Ball Z Kakorot was officially announced at E3, Nintendo's E3 press conference. A moment too soon, either, because on June 10th, 2021, Trunks: The Warrior of Hope was released. There is just enough time for fans to buy the Nintendo Switch version and then the last DLC package.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot for Nintendo Switch will include two DLCs that explore the storyline of Dragon Ball Super. Because the last DLC was recently released, Trunks The Warrior of Hope will not be included, but the first two DLCs should suffice. The release date for this port can be found below.

When will Dragon Ball Z Kakarot come to Nintendo Switch?

The official date given by Nintendo for the release of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot for the Nintendo Switch is September 24th, 2021.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot retells the classic anime story in which Raditz arrives on Earth and ends when Kid Buu is defeated. In all of this, fans get a fresh perspective on certain moments or encounter content that challenges their preconceived notions of DBZ canon. Both Dragon Ball Super DLCs in the game cover the first two major story arcs.

There are two DLCs covering The Beerus and Super Saiyan God storylines and The Return of Frieza or Golden Frieza. Just like the Tournament of Power storylines, the Goku Black Saga wasn't included in the DLCs. Pre-orders should be open for those who want the game since it was just announced.
