T1 Outlasts Virtus.pro In Five Games To Win DOTA 2 ESL One Summer 2021 Championship

The final day of the DOTA 2 ESL One Summer 2021 saw SEA’s T1 crowned as champions after a major showdown of skills was displayed between them and Russia’s Virtus.pro in a best-of-five match series which went down to the wire.

T1 vs Virtus.pro

Game 1 favored T1 where they finished the game in just 31 minutes, led by Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon who notched 11 kills in just one death.

But Virtus.pro managed to bounce back and won game 2, followed by another victory in game 3 where they then secured a 2-1 series lead, inching them closer to the crown.

Yet the team from SEA proved that they will not back down just like that and pulled off to deliver a win in game 4 behind Carlo “Kuku” Palad’s 12 kills using Axe which forced a winner-take-all game 5.

Game 5 saw action-packed DOTA 2 game plays from both teams where they have put everything on the line for the championship. But in the end, it was T1 who prevailed and smashed their way to victory, eventually winning the game and the series overall, 3-2 in 42 minutes of action.
