Diablo 2 Resurrected Cairn Stones Locations And How To Activate Them

Diablo 2 Resurrected players will eventually be tasked with a quest titled 'The Search for Cain' and the TLDR is that you'll be required to find six Cairn Stones before activating them to complete a puzzle

The Cairn Stones in Diablo 2: Resurrected are hard to activate, though thankfully locating them is much easier.

If this is your first time playing the game, you might still need some help though, so we've put together this guide to help give you a helping hand.

So, stick with this guide as we dig deeper into everything you need to know about the Cairn Stones in Diablo 2: Resurrected, including where to find them and how to activate them.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Cairn Stones Location

To find the Cairn Stones location in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you basically have to search the Stony Field area.

Unfortunaely this can vary from player to player because maps are randomly generated, meaning there are no specific locations listed for the Cairn Stones.

No bother you just need to wander around until you find the stones seen in the main image of this story. Simple right. Well yes, but the next part is where it gets difficult.

Diablo 2: Resurrected How To Activate Cairn Stones

In order to activate the Cairn Stones in Diablo 2: Resurrected, you first need to find the Tree of Inifuss.

The tree is located in the Dark Forest and if you want more details on how to find the tree just follow the link above.

However, once you find the tree (and defeat the Treehead Woodfist boss guarding it) you'll need to interact with it.

Doing so should tell you the order you need to interact with the standing Cairn Stones in order to activate them. Again, this is random, so we can't tell you the specific order to activate Cairn Stones as there isn't one.

Regardless, once you have your unique order head back to Stony Field and complete the puzzle to open the portal for the next stage of the quest.
