Early on in the player's adventures within Diablo 2 Resurrected, one quest could have new players a little stumped. You'll be tasked with finding the Tree of Inifuss, but it's not the easiest point of interest in the game.
After clearing the Blood Raven quest, returning to Akara will immediately assign you the "Search for Cain" quest. This quest will instruct players to head over to the Dark Woods where the Tree of Inifuss is located. Finding the tree is important as the Cairn Stones needed to teleport to Tristram will be found here.

How to find the Tree of Inifuss in Diablo 2: Resurrected
To get to the Dark Woods and find the tree of inifuss, players will need to get there through the Underground Passage. Players will need to avoid any detours and head for the Dark Woods portal immediately. Detours may extend the trip due to Diablo 2 Resurrected's randomized maps.
Search For Treehead Woodfist Enemies To Find The Tree Of Inifuss
Once inside the Dark Woods, players will have to keep wandering (no, really) until they find a specific monster called the Treehead Woodfist.
This special enemy will always be spawned near the Tree of Inifuss so keep an eye out on the names of your foes. Unfortunately, players may have varying experiences in finding the tree due to Diablo 2 Resurrected's randomized maps. Some players can immediately find it after a few steps or need to fight off other foes and go through too many areas before finding the tree.
However, this enemy will be accompanied with many Brutes. Be ready to fight to secure the area around the Tree of Inifuss to safely interact with it and get what you need. Once the Treehead Woodfist and his posse of Brutes are done, players can immediately proceed on the next step of their quest
