Is Dead By Daylight cross-play compatible?

Dead By Daylight is cross-platform compatible and has been since August 2020. This gives players a larger selection of people to play with, reduces wait times, and leads to some interesting console versus PC conversations, as per. The title is available on Steam, Stadia, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

When you install Dead By Daylight, cross-play is automatically enabled. You can check this in your settings, in the 'Online' area of the 'Options' tab. If the cross-play box is checked, then you're able to play with a bunch of players globally! If, for whatever reason, cross-play isn't enabled, this will typically be indicated by a small globe icon next to the 'Searching for party...' text in the lower-right corner of your screen when queuing.
