In recent Shiba Inu news, the ecosystem's long-awaited Shibarium Beta launch is now scheduled for Q3, 2022.
Shibarium is described as an effective layer 2 blockchain by Shiba Inu founder Ryoshi. Shibarium is an essential component of the expansive Shiba Inu roadmap.
The blockchain was previously expected to go live by the end of 2022.
However, a recent Unification post indicated that the planned Shibarium blockchain will arrive in Q3, 2022.
Shibarium is scheduled to launch in Q3 of 2022
Unification's announcement further outlined that the initial beta testnet will emphasise the developer and delegator sectors first:
The initial public beta testnet will focus on the developer/delegator sector to enable a robust and ready network to serve the Shib Army once ready.
The Shibarium team invited its developers and validators to join the testnet and assist the network in identifying any bugs, technical challenges, and errors.
This will allow the Shiba Inu team to address any issues before Shibarium's official release, allowing the team to provide a stable environment to the community.
The public beta will also allow a much wider opportunity for open testing and bug fixing, ensuring a secure and streamlined mainnet launch.
