Despite only feeling like COD Mobile was revealed to the world just a few months ago, the mobile edition of the popular first-person shooter has turned one!
To celebrate 12 months since its launch, Call of Duty publisher Activision has released some incredible statistics to show how much the game has grown in the space of a year.
Widely considered to be the most complete Call of Duty experience, COD Mobile has just entered its eleventh season which has been aptly named to celebrate this milestone.

The Numbers
In its first 12 months, there have been over 300 million downloads along with a total of 850 million hours spent playing on Android devices.
These staggering numbers have cemented COD Mobile’s place as one of the most successful mobile games in history and the game shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Its extremely popular battle royale mode has undergone significant changes during the first year. The size of the map has increased by 50%, giving players even more places to drop in an attempt to be the last one standing.

The Weapons
In the space of a year, COD Mobile’s weapon arsenal has often expanded with a wide variety of brand-new weaponry being added on a regular basis.
With approximately 1,400 primary and secondary weapons to select, players have the perfect chance to choose a weapon to suit their style of play.
There are three particular weapons that stand out from the rest.
The AK-47 assault rifle has been used 11.4 billion times across all modes, the RUS-79U SMG has been selected 11.1 billion times and the DL Q33 sniper which heavily resembles the iconic Intervention has been used a total of nine billion times!
The Maps And Modes
Maps and game modes are often what makes a Call of Duty game great, and COD Mobile is jam-packed full of them!
Drawing from the map pools of previous Call of Duty titles, COD Mobile features the likes of Raid, Standoff, Crossfire and so many more classic maps.
On release, the game only featured 11 maps but after a year, there are a total of 23 maps for players to battle it out on.
As for game modes, the growth is even more impressive.
When the game released a year ago, there was a single Multiplayer game mode. Now there are 27 different modes for players to enjoy, including Team Deathmatch, Domination and Hardpoint!
